Okay I’m so in love with Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Second season is coming to Netflix soon and yall can’t sleep on it because ho shit this is everything. I can’t say a lot without spoilers because it’s so clever and constantly evolving, but let me try to just make some general points.
First of all, it stars titular cinnamon roll who might be asexual in cute as fuck friendship with Frodo Baggins or might be hella gay with said BF(F?); it’s up to you. There’s evidence of both. (Very little of straightness, sorry heteros.)
Second, the women! All the characters are crazy unique, interesting, well fleshed out, and so fun, but a moment of appreciation now for all the
non-sexualized
badass women. Amanda’s cooler than I’ve ever been. Farah’s GOT THIS. Bart… I won’t spoil this one, just watch. And you get you those boobs, Suzie.
And the found families! The little families! I can’t even. Rowdy 3, you take me to your leader. (Btw how cute is ladybug Vogel? (And in s2 with flowers in his hair!))
